Beresford was born in Indiana, and holds a BA from Harvard University and an MA from New York University. As an actor she has performed with (e.g.)The American National Theater, at the Kennedy Center, & in Marfa, Texas with Cornerstone Theater Co. She lives in the Hudson Valley, NY with her family.
